LORD JELLICOE.

Per Press Association. Christchurch, Sept. 1. The New Zealand reached Lyttelton shortly after 8 and after her being berthed Lord Jellicoe received the Mayor of Lyttelton, who extended a hearty welcome to tne Admiral, bis officers and crew. Representatives of the Harbour Board and tbe military were also received. After a visit to the Seamen’s Institute the Admiral, Lady Jellicoe and the Admirals of the staff left for Christchnrcn where they were received by the Mayor, who made a short speech of welcome. The party were then taken by motor to the Theatre Royal, where a civic reception was held.
