The German Rational Assembly has accepted Peace. * Confirmed from Another Source. German Government Resign. A New Cabinet Formed. Via Vancouver 8.15 a.m. PARIS, June 20. The Scheidemann Government resigned. Peace is believed to be assured. Unofficial advices indicate that the majority of the German Rational Assembly is ready to sign the peace. Roske is forming a new Cabinet. One of the Persuaders. Grim Sign of Allied Determination. Concentration of Force. London, June 20. There was active concentration of Allied troops on the Rhine, and Germans were withdrawing., war material from points immediately threatened. The tone of the German press is veering towards settlement, although the majority of the Government is against signing, and some suggest a plebiscite. The people are increasingly in favour of peace.. The Gqrman press denies that the Rational Assembly has decided to sign peace. The Exchange Telegraph Agency asserts that signing is certain.
