STOCK SALES. The NZ. ;Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., reports for the week ending, February 15th. At Apiti on Tuesday we bad a heavy yarding of eatte. Competition was not keen, bat Jwe made a fair ■ clearance after the sale. Yearling | heifers £4 5s to £4 los, yearling I steers small £3s 10s, fair yearling steers £4 10sj to £5 18s, good s. h ' yearling steers £6 2s to £7 2s, 2 year heifers £6 15s to £6 17s 6d, store cows £5 to £6 10s, forward cows £7 5s to £S 10s, fat cows £lO 10s to £l2 10s forward bullocks £l2 12s to £l3 2s 6d. At Feilding on Friday we had an average yarding of both sheep and cattle, which sold readily at recent prises. We sold the whole of oar entry. 2-tooth ewes 22s small lambs 5s lOd to 7s 7d, fair lambs 10s 3d to 10s 7d. rape shorn lambs 15s, store cows £5 to £8 3s, forward cow £8 10s to £9, fat cows £lO to £l4 Is, 18month Jersey heifers good £6 os, calves £9, 20-month P. A. steers £9 Is, 3-year discoloured steers £9 10s to £lO 10s, 3-year steers fair £ll to £ll 2s 6d, heavy bulls from £9 5s to £lB.
