VIOLET DAY ON TUESDAY. ‘‘Violet Day” at Mar ton on Tuesday next, fstue day) in connection with the Copper Trail. Those having violets to donate are asked to leave them at the lied Cross Shop. The proceeds will be given to Returned Souliers’ and Crofion b ab-ies. CITIZENS’ BAND BABY. The euchre party in aid of tho above baby drew a large attendance at the supper room in the Town Hall last evening. The prizes being won bv : Gentlemen. Mr W. Fredrick ; ‘booby, Mr H. Batchelor. Ladies, Mrs E. 0. Wing; booby, Miss Chase. A dainty supper was provided by the ladies, and a most?' enjoyable evening was spent by the card players.
