LIGHTING OF MARTON TOWN HALL

Way (Cheeros) and A. E. S. Orozier (orchestra), waited on tne Council in reference to the installation of electric light at the Town Hall.

The recent performances of the Oheeros cost the comp my about £l4 for the temporary installation of electric light. It was not necessary that electric light should be laid on for lighting the entire hall. If the stage and orchestral well were lighted with electric light that would meet the esse. Mr Crozier said that it was necessary that electric light should be installed in the orchestral well to give a good production. Mrs <Riddiford stated that she contemplated putting on a spectacular revue early in September, and unless the electric light was installed it would be impossible to produce the effects that she had in view.
