FRENCH ATTACKING LASSIGNY MASSIFF.

The whole position of the German southern line depends on their holding the Massif. If we secure it we may expect a considerable advance. Otherwise our belmore or less stopped. The position further north, between Koye road and the Somme is more or less established, the enemy reacting very heavily, with considerable 'fresh with a lot of artillery ana constantly counter attacking.
