WHEAT SUPPLY.
SHORTAGE SAFEGUARDED. Per Press Association. Wellington, August 10. It is understood that the Government has decided to exercise their option to purchase an additional 2,000,000 bushels of wheat in Australia, in order to assure sufficient supplies for the whole of New Zealand.
