BULLS TOWN BOARD.

From Our Own Correspondent. The usual monthly meeting of the Board was held on Monday, 21st, hwL The following members were present; Messrs McManaway (cnairmau), Walker, C-trrntbors, Edwards, Hoskiug, McMiun and Tricker. On the motion of Mr McMaiuway, seconded by Mr Tricker, it was decided lo'gr-oit an auctioneer’s license to Mr J. G. Eliot on account of Messrs Levin and Co. General accounts were passed for payment totalling £77 10s -Id. library £IOO.

Mi F. J. Mansell waited on the meeting, and urged the advisability of the Town Board acquiring the electric Pgbt plant. Mr Walker moved and Mr Tricker seconded, That a committee consisting of Messrs Currntiiers, Me Mannway and the mover be set up to consider the question of acquiring the electric light plant from Mr Mansell—Carried.

Mr Mansell was requested to furnish art estimate tor supplying & meter to the Library.

The Chairman reported to the meeting concerning progress made .with the Library. On the motion of Mr Walker, seconded bv Mr Hosking, Mr McMauaway’s" action in ordering rooting iron was confirmed. It was decided to leave the matter of the photo of Mr J. Bull in Mr McMuuaway’s hands. Messrs McMinn and McManaway were appointed Works Committee. Mr McManaway moved, and Mr Carruthers seconded, that Wednesday bo the day to bo onserved a.s statutory hull-holiday during 1918. Curried. This concluded the business.

BULLS DOHA IN. BOARD. The Domain Board, consisting of the same members as the Town Board, sat immediately after the Tov;n Board meeting. Accounts amounting to £0 12s 7d wore passed for payment. Mr McManuway moved, and Mr Camithcrs seconded, That the reply to the Banners’ Co-operative ho left in tin- iiaiiuS ol Messrs, mcnlanuay and Tricker. It was reported that cash amounting to £o i2s had been received for the sale of potatoes. An overdue account received some consideration, and it was decided to hand it to the Board’s solicitor for collection if not paid at once. The meeting then adjourned.
