INDUSTRIES INTERRUPTED.
Madrid, Jan. Troops were called out to quell disturbances at Barcelona. Telegraphic and telephonic communication is interrupted and many industries are closed. DISASTROUS EXPLOSION AT TORPEDO FACTORY'. Washington, Jan. 37. An explosion at a torpedo manuiactory, at Newport, killed eight and injured seven.
