Per Press Association. Hamilton, Dec. 20. The body of Charles Smith, stockman, of Te Uku, was found in the scrub with a gun between his legs and the greater portion of the head blown off. He left a note bidding his employer goodbye. The deceased originally came from Hobart. He served at Gallipoli and was discharged about a year ago.
