THE RUSSIAN ARMISTICE.

The text of tbe armistice has been published at Vienna. It extends from noon of the 17th December to noon of 14th January. It applies to Russo-Turkish theatres in Asia. The troops on the present front will not be strengthened nor transferred unless transfers had already begun at time of signature. It prescribes conditions for 'development of fraternisation and” intercourse, which will ho permittable between sunrise and sunset at certain places, where not more than twenty-five persons, unarmed, may assemble simult.neonsly. The exchange of newspapers and letters and s de of goods will be permitted. The armistice applies to naval and serial forces in the Black Sen and Baltic. Attacks on merchantmen and warships cease. As far as possible the Russian Government undertakes to guarantee that the naval forces of the Entente in these waters will behave similarly to the Russians. Seven armistice Commissions shall meet at Riga, Dvinsk, Brest Litovsk, Berclctchov, Kolosdvar, Fochsanin end Odessa to carry out tho details.
