NOT TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

A GOVERNMENT-MEDICO DEADLOCK

By Telegraph—Spacial to Manawatu

Times. WELLINGTON, Last Night,

Mr Wilkinson (Egmont) asked , tho Hon. Mr Russell again to-day when his Bill for the conscription of medical men was coming down? The member pointed out that the dearth of doctors in some country districts was becoming very serious, even to the extent of endangering life.

The Minister replied that it had been decided by Cabinet not to proceed with, the Bill for the conscription of tho medical profession this session.
