SQME:DRASTIG SENTENCES.
Received Oct. 11, 2.1 q p.m. Rome, Oct. 10.
Benatti, whose case was cabled on the 18th September, has been sentenced to life imprisonment, but his wife was acquitted. His father-in-law and two hotel porters were sentenced to death and another accused, named Drovandi, was sentenced to twenty years’ imprisonment.
