EMBARGO ON GRAIN FOR BEER.
DISTILLERIES TO BE BOMB FACTORIES.
OTTAWA, Oct. 9. Drafted men have been ordered to report on the 19th November and join the colours on. the 10th December.
The Government has decided to prohibit the use of grain for beer manufacture. The distilleries will bo chiefly occupied in the manufacture of explosives.
