There was a good muster on the Marton green on Saturday afternoon and from the standard of play it is evident the players are getting into good form early, and several tyros in their efforts displayed remarkable aptitude. ' In the contest for the Bredin Feathers the challengers were successful with a good margin:— Challengers: Jas. Upchurch, R. Upchurch (skip) 26. Holders: J. Murray, Geo. Stafford (skip) 15. On Saturday next the first game for the Advocate Feathers will take place.
