SUPREME COURT.
Per Press Association, Wanganui, Deo. 1. The Supreme Court opened to-day. Mr Justice Stringer was engaged rehearing the civil case, Frances Mnlliner v. Jostph Ivess, claim £IOOO damages for alleged indecent assault ( his case was heard last session at the Supreme Court, when 6he jury disagreed. The local Law Society welcomed Mr Justice Stringer, it being the first time that lie had presided at the Court at Wanganui since his election u the Bench.,
