FIXTURES. March 25 and 26—Rangitikei R O. DANNEVIRKE MEETING. FISRT DAY. Per Press Association. Dannevirke, March 4. The Autumn Meeting of the Dannevirke R.O. opened to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance and the course was in splendid ordfer, new grandstand was declared opened by the President, Mr G. Hunter. - Results:— Maiden Plate, fonj? fnrlongs.— Montano 3, Mystified 3, New York 3. Scratched: Holywell, Improve,Miss Lupin, Centra, Ngarua, Hadiugo, Janitor, 'and Waimarino. Won by a neck. Time, 56sec. Handicap, 7 furlongs,—Firing Line 3, Merry Jack 2, Combustions. Scratched: Alecto, Armature, Otakora, and Silver Jingle. Won by a length. Nursery Handicap, four furlongs. —Tavistock 3, Indigo 3, La Favourita 3. Scratched: Roumania Margeline, Oarloman, and Ladylike. Won by a neck. Time, sseo. Dannevirke Gup, 1% miles. — Kooya 1, The Settler 2, Braehnrn 3. Also ran: Lord Renown, Mangaroa, First s Oonsnl, Eocene, Feroeler, Trieze and Montreal. Feroeler led from the start into the straight, closely followed bv Settler and Kooya. The latter got the measure of Settler and won- by a long neck, Bsaeburn a length away third. Time, 2min 35seo. Hack Hurdles, 1 % miles.—Papalitz 1, Composed 2, Stockade 3, Also ran: Marblehead, Snnrose, Omanawa and Master Malachi. The winner fell on his nose at the start, but W. Yonng made a wonderful recovery and gave chase. After going a mile he was up with the field and led into the straight. He won easily by two lengths. Time, 3min 38360.

Electric Hack, six furlongs.—Zens 1, Mysterinm 2, Sir Alba 3. Also ran: Powder Fox, Microbe. Won in a canter by half a length. Time, Imin 17secr
