STRANDED CRICKETERS.

The Daily Citizen's New York correspondent says Mayne's cricket team is stranded owing to poor gates last month. They have a perpetual struggle to pay railway fares, and hotelfeeepers are tired of waiting for a good gate. Some members are moodily wondering whether they will have to walk across the Continent and work tlieir passages from San Francisco or Vancouver.
