ANNUAL BULB SHOW Apart from keen competition the prize list in connection with Rongotea and District Horticultural Society’s third annual Bulb Show, which is to be held in the Coronation Hall, Rougotea, on Wednesday, September 10th, should attract large entries in all classes The champion bloom will be chosen from all exhibits, and the Society’s 20-guinea silver challenge bowl will be given for the best collection of Narcissi, 12 varieties, 1 bloom of each There is also a special points prize for exhibitor gaining most points, and specials are also given for best decorated table, best vase of narcissi, and best in children’s class If sufficient competition a gold medal will be presented to the winner of best oolleofon of nine seedling daffodils Entry forms and catalogues may be obtained from the Secretary, Mr F G Seddon
