AUSTRALIAN WARSHIPS.

The Australian warships were warmly welcomed. 300 of the crew of the Australia marched through fche streets headed by a hand The Mayor entertained the officers at luncheon where complimentary speeches were made. The press also made complimentary references. The Natal Advertiser says the visit brings home to everyone that Australia is in deadly earnest in naval defence, whilst South Africa is still trifling with tiie question though every consideration urges her to follow the exmple of Australia.
