The American Attorney, Mr Jerome, has obtained another writ of habeas ooruns with the object of having Thaw produced in Court on the ground of alleged faulty indictment. ■ ■ Ottatva, August 30, New York State authorities have petitioned the Canadian Government to return Thaw oa the ground that he is an escaped lunatic. The Department of Justice announced that it would leave the case in the Sherbrooke judge’s hands for the present.
