An extraordinary breach of promise case has just been concluded wherein a dusky Burmese beauty with whom "the son of an English vicar had been living at Rangoon, was awarded £IOO damages. The exhibits produced in the Court included a thousand love letters, one comprising 143 pages whereon the recipient paid fifteen pence excess postage.
