A committee meeting of the above Club was held last night when there wereTpresent: Messrs R. E. Beckett (chairman), P. L. Young, R. Neumann, R. H. Aldworth, R. Young, K. W. Deightoo, J. McDonell, L. M. Richards, Dr. Bennett and the secretary.
Apologies were received from Messrs Riddiford, Brice, Broad, and Gibbons, and leave of absence was granted. Accounts in connection with the recent Summer Meeting were passed for payment. A statement of receipts and expenditure for the Summer Meeting was read, showing a profit on the meeting of £ISOO, which was practically the amount spent in the erection of a new totalisator houße, machine and furnishings. The question of improvements gto the grounds was considered, and the committee adjourned till 2.30 on Saturday afternoon at the Racecourse.
