The British Hospitals 5 Association has recommended that no j persons Insured under the Act be received as outpatients unless on the doctor 5 s certificate or accident emergency. ■Government has secured 2000 doctors cowards the 10,000 required to treat 18,000,000 people, who it is estimated will be insured under the Aot. The doctors in many districts have passed resolutions refusing to work under the Aot. The secretary 1 of the British Medical Association states that members have not been absolved from their original pledge. Two additional members of the Medical Council have resigned disapproving of the Council's policy regarding the Insurance Act.
