LONDON MARKETS. Per Press Association, Wellington, December 11. The following is the High Commissioner’s cable, dated Loudon, 10th December. Note: Quotations unless otherwise specified are average market prices on spot:— The egg market is dull, with a downward tendency. Prices per 130: Home 16s to 18s, Italian 13s 3d to 13s 6d, Danish 12s 6d to 16s 6d, French 14s to 16s, Hungarian 9s to 11s 6d, Russian 9s 3d to 11s, Dutch 14s to 16s Moroccan, 8s 6d to 9s. The poultry market is steady with very good demand and price firm. Chickens, Home lOd to Is, Russian lOd; ducklings Home 8d to 9d, Russian Turkeys Home 9d to lid, French 9d to lOd. The bacon market is quiet, but steady, and expects an increase in demand for Christmas requirements. Irish 63s to 70s, Danish 60s to 71s, Russian 54s to 625, Canadian 60s to 675, Swedish 64s to 765. The hams market is steady and prices well maintained with fair demand. Irish 90s to 116 s, English 93s to. 112 s, American G4sT|to 735, Canadian 74s to 765.
