Fifty went up after 30 minutes’ play, act! the century in 55 minutes. Fry batted for 33 minutes. Barrett soon followed. Mead than partnered Jepbaon, and 95 were added. The latter gave a splendid all round display. Mead was brilliant, cutting and driving all round. The fielding was excellent. Stumps were drawn.
