July 17 A ballot taken at Kaltangata Mine yesterday by the Federation Union to ascertain whether the men favour an agreement with the employers under the Arbitration Act or the Federation of Labour resulted os ,follows ;~-For the Federation, 140; for arbitration, 26 Oonairleriug the small number of votes it is believed that members of the Arbitration Union did not vote.
