Seals bearing the brand of the United States Government burnt into the skin of the animal as the united States branding post on St. Paul’s Island, in the Behring Saa, have been taken by sealers off the Falkland Islands. Captain “Nicholas Brown, a former seal hunter of the coast of British Columbia, writes from the Falkland .Islands stating that among bis catch in the Antarctic waters ara seals whose brands show that they must have migrated from the Arctic Ocean to the waters about the Sooth Pole.
