The Fez (Morocco), correspondent of the Daily Mail reports that— do* ■ spite the Franco-German agreement of February, providing for equality of treatment of the respective nations in connection with concessions—the Qeiraan consols have secured the confirmation of three concessions for mining rights granted to Messrs Mannesman, a German firm, by Mull Hafid, before his recognition as Sultan. The incident threatens' to causa renewal of the controversy.
