HOME, SWEET HOME.
Playgoers of Marfcon and district are now witliiu a, reasonable distance of an unusually attractive event theatrically, viz., the performance of Mr. Allan Hamilton's Dramatic Company. This will take placo on Monday evening at the Opera House, Mar ton, and judging from tho number of seats already booked at Mogridgo.; a very successful saeson may he expected.
"Home, Sweet Home", a new drama bv Frank Lindo, which forms tl»o piece selected for the opening night, is oi:' all-absorbing interest, in which tho story is allowed to doyeiop naturally without tho resources of the funny man, and (lie bloodshed of melodrama of to-day. In the scenic and other effects it is said that no detail has been spared to ensure a correct presentation of this play, which has given Mr Alfred Clint and his assistant ample scope for an opportunity of his talent as a scenic artist. Amongst the Company aro many notable artists., and it may be well secure seats at Mogridgc's, as crowded houses are assured..
