REPORTS. The Engineer reported that the extra cost of extending length of proposed hath from 75 feet to 100 feet long would be £97, and cost of caretaker’s cottage would ho £7OO. The Sanitary Inspector reported that one case of scarlet fever and one of diphtheria had been notified. Ho gave details of several nuisances in connection with which coercive action was necessary.—The Inspector to he requested to,'take action against persons infringing the sanitary bylaws.

The Abattoir Inspector reported that 94 cows, 39 bullocks, 4 calves, 378 sheep, 26 lambs and 78 pigs, had boon slaughtered; seven anmials had been condemned.

The Poundkceper reported having impounded. 03 horses, 03 cows, 370 sheep and 1 bull. The Engineer reported particularly iu regard to raising the hydrants and-stated tiio cost would he 20s each one.
