(From Our Own' GorrespoMsj.it.)

Tho many friends of Mrs McDonald will be pleased to learn that she is sufficiently recovered from the painful effects of a broken leg to be able to leave the hospital, and returned to her homo on Stnrdav. When it is remembered that Mrs McDonald has seen 77 summers wd not only realise that she has received skilful treatment in her trouble, but that site possessed a splendid constitution; which we sincerely hope will assist her to see and enjoy many more revolutions of our planet round the sun. _ Parents and guardians will be pleased to know that the secretary of the Education Board lias informed the chairman of our School Committee that a teacher will be placed and remain in charge of onr school until Mr Strachau is able to return to the position ho has so successfully filled for the past 17 years._ I notice with regret that our assistant mistress, Miss M.
