BAND CONTEST.
Per Press Association. Asiibueton, May 31. The committee of tho Band Contest to be held hero on October oth and 10th have decided to give prizes amounting to about £223. For the test selection the amounts arc—lst prize £6O, second £3O, third £2O, fourth £lO. For quickstep—--Ist prize £23, second £ls, third £lO, fcurth‘£3. For quartettes and solos gold and silver medals will be awarded.' Entries close on July 6th.
