The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency °o. .Ltd., report that at the sale at Palmerston on Thursday, owing to the tonga •weather and flooded state or tne country stock did not come forward as advertised. The steep entered were usable to get to the yards. Bidding was slack and very little business was done at auction, but bulk of the yarding was quitted afterwards.
