DISCOVERY OF ANTIMONY.
Per Press Association. Blenheim, April 17. A valuable discovery of antimony lias been made at Resolution Bay, Queen Charlotte Sounds, on the property of Mr E. A. Pullman, who has personally boon prospecting for a considerable time. A syndicate took the matter up two mouths ago and engaged Mr R. E. Clouston, mining engineer from Wellington, to report. Mr Clouston lias located a lode alout half a mile long, containing quartz with a largo percentage of very high grade antimony. Thousands of tons of ore are in sight and it is believed that the find is most valuable. A company has been formed to fully inspect and open up the lode and the shares are being placed privately. (Antimony is largely used in alloys such as Britannia metal, typo metal, etc.)
