road will bo ono of the finest promenades in this forest suburb. Tho Main South Road and Station Road footpaths have each received a good coating of tar anil sand. This very necessary improvement will be largely destroyed, however, unless some means are adopted to keep heavy cattle trallic oil the footpaths.
