At Saturday's pigeon match by the l'ukokoho District Guu Club Fausett (17 yards) won tho six bird match with G ; Tony (20) -1, 2nd ; Mouldoy (22) 4 ; Wilson (1:5), Barter (10) and McGough (10), 3 ; McNally (15) and Toonian (M), 2 ; Blako (10), Gardner (15) and Daysh(lo), 1. In a second six-bird match McConniok (10) was first with live birds. Fitness was sccoud with four.

The masquerade social hold recently was a conspicuous success and on Monday next, October 7, a Smoke Social is to bo held in tho Masonic Hall. At this function tho prizes won during tho season will be presented and all Rugby supporters aro cordially invited. At a mooting of the Pukekohe Guu Club on Friday night it was decided, in reply to a letter, to arrange a match with tho Iluntly Club, to be fired at Pukekohe, for tho 12th inst. Mr W. G. Abbott was appointed the Club's handicapper and Messrs W. G. Abbott, W. Cargill, and 1. Motion the selection committee. The secretary reported that Messrs J. Blake and R. Pilkington, F. Perkius and Sbotbolt and Co. had pi*eseuted trophies. Theso were allotted and a list of engagements (which appear in our advertising columns) was drawn up. It was decided to allow no practice on tho ground.
