GOVERNMENT TAKES PORTION To Serve Hydro Projects The Railways Department took over the Taupo Totara Timber Company’s private line from Putaruru to the 19-mile peg at Tokorca as from Tuesday. It is the intention of the department to Use the line for the transport of materials for the construction of the Maraetai and’ Whakamaru hydro-electric projects. i
