PUTARURU CLUB The series of inter-club games played with Central club, 1 Cambridge, at Putaruru, during the week-end, proved quite a success. The visitors stated that they greatly enjoyed the day, and are now. looking forward for the return visit to their green. Six teams took part. Defending the Rotorua Cup against Arapuni, the local team was defeated by the narrow margin of one point. The following is. the draw for the club pairs competition to be played this woek-end on the two life system; Loutett and W. King, a bye; Penwarden and Sissons v. Dickinson and Dalton; F. J. Tomalin and F. Tomalin v. Brown and Finch; Barnett and Bayly v. J. Tomalin and Peters; Callaghan and Addenbrooke v. Robinson and Blackwell; Power and ‘Lord v. M. Gray and Cranston; Crabb and Hollard v - J. King and Radd.
Players are reminded that Saturday, November 30, is visitors’ day.
