FIRE BRIGADE BALL

ANNUAL FUNCTION The annual Fire Brigade' Ball was held in the Civic Theatre, Putaruru, on Tuesday evening of last week, by the Putaruru Municipal Fire Brigade, and although the attendance of the public wao not as large as in past years, owing to an extremely wet night, the ball proved popular, and was a success. The floor was in good order, and good dancing music was provided by a Merrinsville orchestra. Mr. “Ginger” Robinson was a capable M.C. A competition waltz was won by Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Freeman.
