KILLADAR’S SISTER WINS At Napier Park on Thursday the Maiden Scurry was won by Bell Broney, a sister to Killadar (which won at Te Aroha on Monday). These youngsters are by Kilbroney from Abbey Day (a full-sister to those good horses Boomerday and Gala Day, both-bred by Mr. R. Hannan and sola by him to Mr. W. H. Wackrow, of Rotorua). Bell Broney was having its third start. • Incidentally the writer endeavoured, without success, to get a Matamata sportsman interested in a lease of this filly. She has only been, in work a few months. Mr. Wackrow has a foal half-sister, by Tea Tray, at present running on his estate at Rotorua.
