Morrinsville. Mrs. P. Clark, Mangateparu, has returned from visiting Auckland. Miss D. Bright, Moorhouse street, is visiting Waihi beach. Miss E. Moody has returned from a holiday at Milford.
Miss K, Noble, Tauhei, is visiting Dunedin.
Miss Paul, Studholme street, is on holiday at Tauranga Mrs. Manning, Christchurch, is visiting Mrs. E. McGregor, George street.
Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Walker, Kiwitahi, have returned from a visit to Bay of Plenty. Miss Fletcher and Mrs. Brass, Nelson, are visiting Mrs. J. M. Anderson, Hamilton road.
Miss D. F. D’Esterre, M.A., from Takapuna, has joined the staff of the Morrinsville District High School. Mr. and Mrs. Firmin and children, Napier, are visiting Mrs. Spinley, Lome street. Mr. and Mrs. L. Andrews, Auckland, are visiting Mrs. Robinson, Mangateparu.
Matamata Mrs. J. H. Casley, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, of Devonport, Auckland, has returned to Matamata. Mrs. J. W. Cathro is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Dunn, of Papatoetoe. Mrs. W. A. ‘ Turkington has returned to Matamata after a fortnight’s holiday in Auckland, and is accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Bailey, of Auckland. Mr. Cedric Banks, of Mt. Maunganui, Tauranga, and Mr. W. Tisch, Hamilton, both formerly of Matamata, visited Matamata during the week-end, at the conclusion of a motor tour, during which they visited Cape Runaway, National Park and the Waitomo Caves. Miss Gwilliam. of Auckland, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Simpson, of Peria, Matamata. Tirau Misses Kuhtz and Shaw left on Monday for Taranaki. Miss Esther Allen is visiting Auckland as a represents;'ve of the Patetere Lodge at the Oddfellows’ annual conference.
