THE CONTROL BOARD,
STILL A USEFUL BODY. Mr. C. E, Macmillan’s Views. Addressing the people when opening the Matamata A. and P. Show on Friday, Mr. C. E. Macmillan made allusion to the abandonment of pricefixing by the Dairy Export Control Board. Although the board had to abandon part of its policy, it could still be useful, and he thought it would yet be of great advantage to the producers. The experiment had to be made, but it was not to be expected that there would be no reverses, and it was only by sticking to it that the producers could win out. (Applause).
