Stock Market.
We have been requested to give a weekly report of the stock market, and we take the first opportunity of placing before those interested the result of Messrs Freeman R. Jackson's sules on the West Coast last week :
Cattle—At l’almerston large forward bullocks made £3 19s; 2 year do., 12 10s to 12 12s (bl; yearlings, 22s to 28s. \t Otaki—forward cows, £2 7s to £2 10s ; bullocks, £3; yearlings, 2ts. At Waverley—small cows, 29s to 80s each ; yearlings, 21r. At Wanganui—cows and calves, £2 3s (Id; 18 month steers, 32s 6d ; 3 year steers passed at £2 17s Cd.
Sheep—At Palmerston—fat ewes. 6s to 6s 3d. At Otaki—fat ewes, 6s; wethers, 7s 2d ; store ewes, 3s 9d to 4s. At Waverley—lambs, -fs 9d to 5s 10d ; ewes and lambs, 3s 9d to 4h 8d each ; fat wethers, 7s 7d; fat ewes, Cs 3d. At Wanganui—fat wethers, 7s -Id; 2-tooth ewes and wethers, Os 3d ; breeding ewes, 3s Gd to Cs lid, according to quality; lambs, 4s 9d to As sd.
Pigs—Good porkers, lls to 20s; and stores, Os Gd to 9s.
