ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. OHEISTCHUECH, April 3. At the Addington market there were somewhat smaller entries of stock in almost all departments. Store sheep of all classes were somewhat easier, especially for the poorer lots, ~ which there was a good proper Lion offered. Fat lambs also showed a little decline, as export buyers were not operating to any extent owing to the accumulation of stock through the holidays. Fat cattle showed little change, but if anything the market was not quite so firm. Fat sheep were also easier through there being limited competition from importers. There was a dull sale for store cattle. Fat pigs sold well, but there was a limited demand for stores.

Store Sheep.—Two-tooth owes 365, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 39s 3d, 4, 6 and 8tooth ewes 30s, sound-mouth ewes 34s 9d, 2-tooth wethers 265, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 28s lOd, 4 and 6-tooth wethers 25s 6d to 30s, ewe lambs 235, mixed sex lambs 14s lOd to 23s sd, wether lambs 12s 6d to 16s. Fat Lambs. —Prime lambs 27s to 31s 6d, medium lambs 24s to 26s 9d, lighter lambs 21s to 23s 6d.

Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 43s_ Bd, prime wethers 35s to 40s, lighter wethers 28s to 34s 6d, merino wethers 23s 9d to 24s 3d, extra prime ewes 45s lOd, prime ewes 32s 6d to 365, medium ewes 28s 6d to 325, lighter ewes 24s 9d to 28s, merino ewes 16s. Fat Cattle.—Extra prime steers to £23 ss, prime £l3 10s to £l6 10s, extra prime heifers £l7 ss, prime heifers £ll to £l7, ordinary heifers £9 12s 6d to £lO 15s, extra prime cows £l7, ordinary cows £8 10s to £l2 ss.

Store Cattle.—Two and 3-year steers £9 10s, 2 and 3-year heifers £7 9s, dry cows £lO 2s 6d, low-conditioned calves 355, dairy cows £8 to £l9 10s. Pigs.—Choppers £4 jus to £9, baconers £4 to £6 (equal to 7£d to 8d per lb), porkers £2 15s to £3 18s (equal to 9d to 9id per lb), stores 24s to £3, weaners 17s to 20s.
