WELLINGTON MARKET REPORT. Messrs Townsend & Paul, Ltd., have pleasure in reporting an exceptionally keen demand for all dressed pork and poultry, and recommend consignments promptly. The following prices are ruling:—

Dressed Pork.—so's to SO’s prime 7Jd to BJd per lb.; 60’s to SO’s medium 7d to 7Jd per lb.; 80's to 100's prime to 7id per lb.; 90’s to 100’s medium 6d to 6id per lb.; 100’s to 120’s prime to 6d per lb.; 100’s to 120's medium 5d to 6d per lb.; slips 6}d to 7id per lb.; Bacon pigs 5Jd to 6Jd per lb. as per quality. Choppers 4d to Ijd per lb. as per quality. Suckers lOd to Is per lb. as per quality. If possible ship dressed pork to arrive in Wellington Thursdays or Fridays, the butchers here prefer pork at the end of the week.
