THE FRENCH FRONT.
VIOLENT ARTILLERY DUELS,
LONDON, March 17.
A French communique says: — There is a fairly violent artillery duel, especially on the right hank of the Meuse in the regions of Bezonvaux and Vauchedauville. We dispersed a raid west of Morviile, in Lorraine. We drove the enemy from the trenches they occupied west of Mont Cornilet in Champagne. A detachment simultaneously penetrated the German lines at Mont Blond.
