Mr Hoy Demands Action

London, March 1.

Mr Austin Hoy has cabled to President Wilson demanding that the deaths of his mother and sister shall be avenged, and requesting the privilege of being the first volunteer for the American Army. Mr Hoy adds ; “My offer is not mock heroism. I am an American business man, but I cannot expect other Americans to offer lives to avenge the Laconia outrage unless I do."
