PAGANINI HAD HIM.

One day, when in France, Paganini jumped into a cab, and gave orders to be driven to the theatre. The distance was not great,, but lie was late, and an enthusiastic audience was waiting to hear him perform the famous prayer of “Moise” ,on a single string. ‘"How much do I owe you ?” he inquired of the driver. “For you,” said the man, who had recognised the great violinist, "the, fare is ten francs.” | ■ “What!
