This motion was carried. It was also resolved that, in the event of a joint Home being old people from the district other than the one in which the Home is situated be maintained therein for the payment of the actual cost per head. It w«i roaolved that it be a recommendation to each Board to appoint an ex , tra ,P e t m Ju e to the joint committee, and that the committee report to the March meeting of their respective Boards. It was decided that it be a recommendation to the joint committee that the £IOOO grant be specially ear-marked for the Old Men’s Home, and not be diverted to any other purpose. The question of site was referred to the joint committee for a recoramendIt was generally agreed that it would be wise to continue the present arrangement as long as it met requirements. The chairman thanked the “ ricton representatives for their attendance and courtesy, and the discussion then terminated.
